Local bus (pictured) can be hailed from in front of My Resort building. Buses run every 10 minutes from Monkey Mountain to Night/day Markets in main town area. Bus can be hailed anywhere and passengers can get off anywhere as there are no designated bus stops. Cost for all trips is 15 baht per passenger and you pay driver as you alight.Â
Taxi and/or tuk tuk is normally available outside of Tops Daily (opposite My Resort). Fare should be negotiated with driver and should cost 100-120 baht to Market Village and 150 baht to main town area.
Ride sharing is available in Hua Hin with Grab and Bolt, the two most prominent. I found the service clean, convenient and reasonably priced. The price is set on booking with no bartering or tipping, and you will be messaged when your ride arrives. The driver can be directed to pick up/drop off next to the lift foyer under Building C. You will need to download the relative app to make booking but it is well worth the effort.
